The wait for almost over lakhs of students is finally coming to an end in West Bengal. This is because the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has officially confirmed that the Madhyamik (Class 10) Result 2026 will be declared next month. It means that around 9.7 lakh students will finally get the chance to check the WB Madhyamik Result 2026.

The exam was conducted from February 2 to February 12, 2026. 9,71,340 candidates participated in the exam. Below is the participation breakdown:
- Boys: 4,26,733
- Girls: 5,44,606
- Transgender: 1

A minimum 33% aggregate (231 out of 700) and 30 marks in theory per subject is required to pass the Madhyamik exam.
WB Madhyamik Result 2026: Result Date and Time

- At last, you should download and print the scorecard.
The online marksheet is provisional. Students must collect the original marksheet from the school after a few days.

You can open the messaging app on your phone and type WB10 Roll Number (enter your roll number after WB10). After that, you must send it to 58888.

You should download the Madhyamik Results 2026 app from the Play Store to use this method. Here you should enter credentials to view marks immediately.
What After WB Madhyamik Result 2026?
Students will get many options after the results. Passed students can choose a stream based on their marks from science, commerce, and arts. Apart from that, they can also apply for re-evaluation if not satisfied with marks. Forms for it will usually open within a week.
Students who have failed in 1 or 2 subjects will also get another chance to prove themselve through compartment exams. These exams might happen around June or July.
