The Jammu & Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank) has introduced the JK Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification. It has given an excellent chance for graduates to enter the banking industry.
The notification has made 614 apprentice posts available under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The online application has already started in April 2026. It would be best to apply by the deadline to secure your seat.

Recruitment is mainly open to candidates living in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Meanwhile, there are some seats for candidates located in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, you must check whether you meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification
- A graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
- Minimum marks: 55% (45% for reserved categories)
- Graduation must be completed on or after 1 January 2022, under some criteria.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age relaxation will only be applied for reserved categories as per the rules.
Language Requirement
- Candidates must know the local language of the region they apply to. Urdu, Hindi, Kashmiri, Dogri, etc., are examples of those languages.
Stipend & Benefits
If you get selected, you will receive a ₹13,500 per month stipend, of which ₹9,000 is provided by the bank and ₹4,500 via government support (DBT). Up to ₹1,250/month will be the conveyance allowance. Remember, this is a training-based role. Hence, it will provide you with practical skills and banking exposure.

Selection Process
The selection process has 3 processes. Below is the list of those processes:
- Online Written Test (CBT)
Here are the details about the CBT test:
- Sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, General Awareness
- Total Questions: 100
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks
- Local Language Test
After the written test, there will also be a local language test in which you should showcase your knowledge of Urdu, Kashmiri, Dogri, Hindi, etc.
- Document verification
Lastly, there will be verification of the document.
